Join us for a special symposium commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Royal-Mach-Gaensslen Prize for Mental Health Research. Established through a partnership between the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research at The Royal and the Mach-Gaensslen Foundation of Canada, this prestigious prize recognizes outstanding contributions to mental health research in Canada. 

Overview

This event brings together past prize recipients to share their groundbreaking work and discuss how their discoveries have shaped the field of mental health research and care. Through a series of engaging presentations, you’ll gain insights into a wide array of topics such as personalized treatments for depression, perinatal mental health care, heart-brain connections, understanding brain circuits and behaviour, tackling global youth mental health challenges, and more.
