Summary

At the outset of 2021, we are faced with rising COVID-19 cases and new restrictions needed to flatten the curve.  What do we do when the things that are protecting our physical health are challenging our mental health? Dr. Tim Lau says the key is in how we approach these challenges. By changing the way we think and face our situations, we can change the way we feel and respond to them.

Join us on January 28, 2021 at 7pm for a virtual webcast with Dr. Lau, psychiatrist and president of the medical staff at The Royal. Dr. Lau will share his CALM strategy for fostering resilience and hope when faced with stress and uncertainty. CALM uses principles from cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and other problem solving approaches to help us take control of our emotions and find hope even in the most challenging times.
