Hosted by The Royal in partnership with the Ottawa Black Mental Health Coalition, these new drop-in peer support groups provide emotional and practical support to members of the African, Caribbean, Black (ACB) community who may be facing challenges related to mental health, racism, discrimination, and more.

Forge meaningful connections with others who share similar
experiences and challenges.

For the empowerment
Find strength and inspiration and empowerment in the
stories and experiences of your peers to take action to
improve your mental health and quality of life.

For the support
Find understanding, validation, and encouragement from
your community.

For the wellness
Learn about tools and techniques for enhancing your mental
well-being while in a safe and non-judgmental space.

The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre
1145 Carling Ave. in The Hub (Room 1113 near the main entrance)
Tuesdays from 2-3:30 p.m.
May 7 - June 25

Ottawa Church of God
1820 Carling Ave.
Thursdays from 7-8:30 p.m.
May 9 - June 27
