Finding community support and services for people living with schizophrenia can be a challenge. For many people the biggest question is: Where do I start?
Participants of this session will gain an understanding of the community supports and services available for people living with schizophrenia and the best way to access them.
Jenn Wilks and Sheri Leroux – social workers in The Royal’s Integrated Schizophrenia Recovery Program – will provide an overview of community supports and services in the greater Ottawa community, such as ACTT, CMHA, housing programs, ODSP, family support groups etc. This session will also include time for questions about support and services, or general questions about schizophrenia.
