Dr. Nicole Racine is a registered clinical psychologist and post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute.

Overview

  • Review Canadian and international research on maternal mental health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • Describe key individual, social, and contextual factors that are associated with mental health difficulties for pregnant women and mothers during the pandemic. 
  • Identify individual strategies and supports for fostering maternal-child wellbeing during the pandemic.
