Overview

The Mental Health Tour is an immersive experience that features an Airstream trailer travelling across Canada to raise awareness about schizophrenia & cognitive health amongst healthcare practitioners.

The tour consists of two different events. Participating healthcare practitioners will have the chance to attend a scientific lecture and complete a patient-centric learning experience within the trailer. Light refreshments will be provided following the lecture.

Participants will be given the opportunity to complete three different challenges inside the trailer, designed to provide a deeper understanding of the cognitive difficulties persons living with schizophrenia may face.

This program is made possible via sponsorship by Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) ltd.

Audience: Participation is restricted to healthcare practitioners, mental health researchers, and employees of health advocacy organizations.
