Intended audience

As a family member or caregiver, we understand that your loved one’s mental health can have a significant impact on you. This family information event is intended for family members or caregivers of individuals living with schizophrenia spectrum diagnoses. These events are an opportunity to learn from our experts, find out about available resources, and connect with others who share a similar experience. There is no cost to participate but registration is required. Please note, this session is for Ontario residents only.

Overview

Kelly will provide an overview of some important aspects of the Mental Health Act, including some of the most commonly used processes and forms. She will also address some basics related to community treatment orders. Content covered will reflect the province of Ontario only.

This presentation will be virtual, and to facilitate the comfort and confidentiality of participants, the session will not be recorded.
