As a family member or caregiver, we understand that your loved one’s mental health or substance use health can have a significant impact on you. The Royal’s family information sessions are intended for family members or caregivers of individuals with a mental health or substance use health issue. These events are an opportunity to learn from our experts, find out about available resources, and connect with others who share a similar experience. There is no cost to participate but registration is required.

Join us for an insightful and empowering family information session with Brynna Lemmex, a dedicated social worker in the Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders Program at The Royal. Brynna specializes in supporting clients and families who are struggling with alcohol and opioid use through her work in the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic.

Caring for others often comes with challenges, and it's essential to protect our well-being while maintaining supportive relationships. In this session, Brynna will share her expertise in setting boundaries and communicating effectively. Participants will learn how to set clear, respectful boundaries with loved ones and communicate their needs.
