The three-day event will feature seven symposia on themes at the cutting-edge of pressing issues in music and health as well as a summit on social prescription:
Over 25 speakers with varied expertise will deliver scientific presentations designed for a wide audience with a variety of backgrounds. The event will also be comprised of various workshops, sharing sessions and round tables designed to encourage discussion and knowledge exchange with conference attendees.
This conference will be a unique opportunity to benefit from a variety of perspectives, to share experiences and skills, and to debate crucial questions for the advancement of research and the implementation of research results in the community. It aims in establishing community music as a reliable approach for beneficial impacts on health and wellbeing in various care environments leading eventually to the development of a social prescribing model – Music on Prescription - that enables health and social professionals to refer individuals to community-based music activities.
