Women in Mind brings together leading researchers and practitioners for one of Canada’s only conferences devoted to women’s mental health. Health professionals are invited to spend the day at The Royal exploring the complex relationship between women’s mental health, intimate partner violence, and substance use.
Incorporating women-centred care and recovery into practice challenges us to consider the diversity and complexities of women’s lives including our sexuality, gender identity and gender expression. This exciting conference will bring together leading experts from across the province to discuss healthy sexuality and gender diversity in the context of mental health. Participants will leave with an awareness of current perspectives on sex and gender, as well as practical skills for engaging clients in these important conversations.
This conference will be of interest to professionals working in various sectors who provide services to women, as well as any person looking to gain knowledge about healthy sexuality and gender diversity.
Regular Rate: $125
