On July 9, clients, staff and volunteers welcomed award-winning country singer and mental health advocate Jelly Roll to our Ottawa campus for an intimate and inspiring visit organized in partnership with Ottawa Bluesfest.
His journey from battling the judicial system to now touring outside the US for the first time is a testament of resilience and transformation. A sincere thank you to Jelly Roll, for using his powerful voice to raise awareness about mental health, reminding us that it is okay to "not be okay", and that vulnerability is courage. Jelly Roll’s story is lived-experience and a testament that recovery is possible.
