Testing Individual and Family Explanations for Father-Child Incest: Comparing Incest Offenders with Other Offenders and Non-Offending Fathers

We are currently doing a study to help us better understand sexual offending. This study involves answering a computerized task which asks questions about your childhood, your family relationships, your opinions about various subjects, and your sexual preferences. You will also be asked to provide information about your criminal history. The session occurs one time only, and takes 45 min-1 hour to complete. You will be paid $30 in compensation.

Individuals are eligible if they

  • Are males, age 18 and over

  • Can read and understand English

  • Are a Father or Step-Father who has committed a sexual offense against a child 16 and under, OR a Father or Stepfather who has committed a sexual offense against a person aged 16, OR a Father or Step-Father who has committed a violent non-sexual offense
